Friction crevice corrosion occurs during the production and processing of aluminum alloy die casting

Page View: 14 Release time:

The causes of friction, crevice corrosion in the production and processing of aluminum alloy die-casting parts are given as follows:

 (1)The position and appearance of the inner runner caused by the die casting mold are not good;

(2)Insufficient water cooling at the location of strong liquid erosion of aluminum alloy profiles at the inner runner caused by forging standards.

The ways to handle and avoid friction, crevice corrosion are:

(1)Inappropriate placement and orientation of internal pouring channels for improvement;

(2)Improve water cooling standards, especially in areas with strong liquid corrosion of metal materials;

(3)Improve building coatings to partially corrode gaps;

(4)Adjust the water flow rate of aluminum alloy liquid to prevent cavitation

(5)Remove aluminum alloy adhesive from the grinding tool.

Unexpectedly, friction, crevice corrosion occurred during the production and processing of aluminum alloy die-casting parts! Don't worry, following the left and right methods can reasonably prevent such incidents from happening.
